The Cotswold Juice Company

Meg and I were crazy busy throughout September. I started a new job and Meg opened her new shop in Stow on the Wold (if you haven't been yet, GO!). So we were much in need of a vitamin boost. As luck would have it Kathryn Green from the Cotswold Juice Company dropped off a selection of juices and smoothies at our door, to see what we thought.

Naturally, as soon as they arrived I took them out of their lovely little cool bag and took them for a photoshoot around my house and garden! It just what we do. Anything for a good Instagram pic! I think you'll agree they're rather photogenic.Just love the colours, really vibrant and natural which is what you get from cold pressed, raw juices.

Kathryn created the Cotswold Juice Company after a series of health implications made her consider what she was feeding her body and how she was going to go about changing it.  Whats great about Kathryn is that in addition to creating these wonderfully colorful little bottles of joy, she actually knows what shes talking about too, after completing a course in nutrition. she started nourish her body with raw and organic foods and did a lot of this through the power of juicing. The great news is that Kathryn has now launched her four signature drinks, packed with vitamins, enzymes and nutrients ready to be delivered to your home or workplace.

We tried all 4 drinks and we were split down the middle with our favorites.
I loved the green juices Revive and Energy Smoothie. This is the kind of thing I would usually attempt to make in my nutribullet and not pull off!  Usually I can't get by without a double espresso on a weekday morning but the Energy Smoothie is packed full of fiber and so was more than enough to get my energy levels up. I tried the green juice as soon as they were delivered, just as a arrived home from work. This is usually the time id be raiding the fridge for anything and everything, does anybody else get like this when they get home from work? so the juice was an excellent replacement.

Meg liked the Beet Juice the most which is high in nitrates and excellent for lowing blood pressure. just what Meg needed with the excitement and stress of opening a new shop! beetroot juice and the Carrot Espresso and Heart Beet juices. After a week of junk food on the go as she set up her shop she really needed a kickstart to a cleaner diet and the juices got her in the right frame of mind!

All the juices are cold pressed which means you get the most of the goodness out of the fruit or veg, organic and raw.

I've got to say there is a lot of choice with juices in the market at the moment and a few in the Cotswolds. We love them and Instagram them ALOT. But we wanted to do a little champion blog of Kathryn and her new company, because we think she is different and although we are sure her juice range will grow, at the moment her philosophy is to get the right nutrients in the right order for the right reason...well... right! Making us trust what we are drinking is doing us some good .

Meanwhile Kathryn is helping us to stick to our philosophy of being super healthy from Monday to Friday afternoon...making Gin on a Friday night even more acceptable!

W absolutely love these juices Kathryn, thank you so much for letting us try them.
