Earls and Co. ... Again

After the boys raved about Earls and Co. Cheltenham, in #TheManDrawer (see their post here.) we got an invite to try out the champagne and nails bar situated at the top of the building. As her eyebrows are wild after a month in France and not caring who saw her, Emily opted to have an eyebrow waxing!

I arrived into the main reception to a chap walking out of the barbers with a great big smile on his face stating "its like stepping back in time". The boys were right, this place is special and when you are walking up the red carpet you expect nothing less. I checked in at the whisky reception bar and was escorted to the champagne nails bar at the top of the building. It's like a completely different place but still retains the classy charm that the theme of the barbers sets off. I loved the duck egg blue walls and the beautifully chic décor complete with chandeliers, cream chesterfield sofas and large white jugs of flowers. I tucked into a glass of homemade iced tea and a handful of cranberries and nuts, which were set out on the magazine table and opened up a copy of Vogue whilst waiting for Lauren, my eyebrow waxer for the hour!

I could have stayed happily listening to ladies who lunch getting their nails done and sipping on a glass of champagne, reading my magazine and drinking the Tea they had brought for me  (I was driving so no champagne for me). There is so much to look at around the room and soaking up the atmosphere was really relaxing.
Lauren collected me and took me to a huge room with 2 massage beds in it (note to self, book in for a couples massage!).

Lauren was really genuinely lovely, well presented and gave me advice on the shape of my eyebrows. That is all I need from a beautician after visiting so many who make a mess of my eyebrows or make the experience awkward (not mentioning names as we are a happy blog!).
Sounds weird but I noticed the smell of the wax immediately. It was gorgeous and fresh. Lauren told me they use wax with aloe vera in rather than honey as they feel it gives a better finish. She was right. My eyebrows looked perfect (down to Lauren's expertise not just the wax)  and the skin around my eyes was not sore or inflamed at all. I went straight out shopping and didn't have to wear my sunglasses. Bonus!

Ladies if you are thinking of getting the girls together soon here is a great excuse! Earls and Co provide relaxing a luxurious parties complete with champagne and treatments! Alternatively why not treat the chaps to a whisky tasting package? Perhaps something a bit different for a stag or hen in Cheltenham?

Thank you AGAIN Earls and Co. We are getting the boys to drop us both off next time so we can have a glass of bubbly!
