Our Week #6

We have been completely overwhelmed with the activity on our blog this week, hitting record views for us! We were so pleased with the response to our post about The Kings Head Cirencester. We really do feel very lucky! When we started this blog back in June, we didn't expect it to be this popular so to know people are reading our posts and liking what we're doing is really lovely, thank you!

On Monday night we started the Cotswold Burger Club with other local Cotswoldian Burger enthusiasts.  We started back at The Tavern which we blogged about last week (see it here). Follow the conversation at #cotswoldburgerclub.

I popped through to Chipping Campden on Weds to have dinner with my Mum and to steal her Address book for our Save The Dates. They have been designed by the brilliant Angie B Who has just launched her website this week. Click on her name for the link. Meg will be stocking some of her cards and prints in Meggies.

I am currently writing from South Devon where we have come for the weekend for James's cousins 21st. We arrived at 8pm on Friday to a rather magical little setting. We sat by the sea in an open 'shack' styled venue which was heated and decorated beautifully by James's Aunty! We sat and ate sea food, scallops to start and monkfish Thai curry for main, with a view of the moon bouncing off the sea. We set off 21 lanterns at midnight, which was extra special for me, with it being a prominent anniversary for my family that same day.

I has been working hard at Meggie's once again. Only 17 days to go till my new venture opens! Busy Busy but I'm loving every minute of it. Me & Harry also had our oldest friend Amy to stay on Saturday night, we ate steak, drank wine by the fire and laughed right through the night. Sunday, I roped her into helping me with some DIY at the shops and then we spent the evening celebrating our niece, Phoebe's 1st birthday. Such a cutie!

Have a great week!

Millie and Meg x
